God does not make mistakes

I wrote this in another blog. Pls feel free to read. pardon the mistakes as i wrote it on a pad.

I seem to have stumbled into this website. For all those lost in the fog, remember.. God does not make mistakes. I use to think homosexuality was a sin, a damnation where the road only points to hell and misery. Illumination came to me after asking our blessed Lord in prayer about being gay. I struggled for a decade coming to terms with myself and suffered alone. Our Lord made me realize that in the end.. The most important thing you can do is to Love. Love one another, love God, and love self.

Far to many individuals are eager to cast the stone. Our Lord does not, and our lives will ultimately be judged on our love. Our Lord already said the greatest commandment but further prayer about loving oneself is to respect dignity of yourself and others. To keep it short.. Gay is not a sin nor an abomination. It is the way our Divine Lord made you. You are special and unique. Praise God!

One problem with the gay community is our attraction to lust rather than love. As advocates of love, teach our fellow beings to love first and not lust. Respect our bodies, means not to live a life of chastity but to not live a life of wanton sex with many partners. Do you love someone? Or do you lust for many and only to fulfill the desires of your flesh without respect for your body or others? Find a partner to love, ask God to help you. Thankfully for me, God did find me one. Not a day goes by that I am reminded to pray and praise.

I am no saint. I am a Gay person who still does his best though a times fail to Love. I confirm God’s love for us all and not his wrath as others would lead you to believe. So i ask you to talk to Him as friend, a very good friend and He will come to your aid. Above all remember that He is Holy.

EB – i love ixoy3!

Ty for reading. my thoughts were rushing faster than I could type!

“God does not make mistakes”? Tell that to the poor children born with their intestines on the outside. That’s just some piss-poor consolation for people who can’t accept that life is unfair & some are born luckier than others.

      Dear Jared,
Excuse me for writing this late, but let me remind you that Our Lord does NEVER make mistakes, for He is Perfect. Remember what His Holy Bible says:
      Matthew 5:2 ^
And with these words he gave them teaching, saying,
      Matthew 5:3 ^
Happy are the poor in spirit: for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.
      Matthew 5:4 ^
Happy are those who are sad: for they will be comforted.
      Matthew 5:5 ^
Happy are the gentle: for the earth will be their heritage.
      Matthew 5:6 ^
Happy are those whose heart’s desire is for righteousness: for they will have their desire.
      Matthew 5:7 ^
Happy are those who have mercy: for they will be given mercy.
      Matthew 5:8 ^
Happy are the clean in heart: for they will see God.
      Matthew 5:9 ^
Happy are the peacemakers: for they will be named sons of God.
      Matthew 5:10 ^
Happy are those who are attacked on account of righteousness: for the kingdom of heaven will be theirs.
      Matthew 5:11 ^
Happy are you when men give you a bad name, and are cruel to you, and say all evil things against you falsely, because of me.
Be glad and full of joy, for great is your reward in Heaven.

And back to my own words, which I hope are God’s too:
Those who are born with, or get during their lives, differences in their bodies, or are bullied daily or not; those who suffer in any way possible, will be rewarded in Heaven. God, Our Lord, makes no mistakes. He has made those persons that way so that they learn in this world, so that they see what happiness and love and all that comes from God is. He has made them this way, to make them happy. Whether they are happy here with His love, the love of God; or whether they suffer, so that they can have consolation and happiness in Him. They were made that way to be happy. They were made that way to see God Our Lord.

So, please, be conscious that God makes no mistakes, and that He loves you, and He loves me, and He loves them, and He will reward us when we die.

      With love,
      Adrianne.

    EB,

Thank you for writing something from a place of hope. My little brother came out to me last night, the first time he has told a family member, and we discussed many of the points you mentioned here. I want him to understand and truly feel that his family, the church, and of course God all love him, and that his sexuality does not have to be at odds with his faith, and I do not want his trust in me to ever become something negative. You and this whole website are helping me enter a new area of my faith as well.

Jared- your post has nothing to do with hope, or the infinite capacity of God. Are you certain the parents of those children learned nothing from their trials, did not grow closer to God? Hard things happen, terrible things happen, that do not necessarily come from God. The beautiful thing is that God can USE those hard or terrible things to bring people closer to him, to give them better understanding, to turn the evils of the world into good. Why would one reject hope in favor of despair?

I read this and it reminded me of a song from a show I went to see recently. If anybody here has seen the stage show Bare you will know what I mean but for anybody who hasn’t the song “God Don’t make no trash” is really something worth listening to 🙂

It shows that regardless of who you are, you are who you’re supposed to be and that you are still a child of God.

There is also a similar song in the reformatted version that really puts the point across that as long as you’re happy with who you are and praising God there is nothing wrong with being “different”

  4. Abby says:

God doesn’t make mistakes, man does or rather he sins, call it a mistake if you like, but sin is still sin. What we see is a result of the fall, homosexual behaviour is a judgment of God. We all need to repent of sin no matter if you are a thief, liar or homosexual and believe upon Christ’s finished work upon the cross for salvation. It is the provision God gave in Christ, through His death and the shedding of his blood and His resurrection on the 3rd day which gives hope when this body gives up it’s ghost. Nothing we say or want to believe other than what God has already provided will excuse us or save us. It is God in Christ and only Him and through Him can man be saved. It’s not ok to be different if what you mean is just to excuse sin, whether by giving your approval of it or commiting it yourself. Someone who is saved by God’s grace may still sin, but it is not an habitual sin or to say I am now saved, I can do what I like. There is a change of heart and mind toward God, if an individual can still sin without a seared conscious and a need to repent and continue habitually in that sin then they need to question their salvation. It is wrong to think we are all God’s children, we all have the possibility to be a child of The Most High, but unless there is belief in Christ and repentance from sin we are not children of God but a child of the devil. I don’t wish to offend anyone, but if any take offense at what I’ve written I suggest you pray and ask for help in understanding what God has written in His Word.

    • Joe says:

Abby – Thank you for the comment. I am having a hard time understand your reference to “It is wrong to think we are all God’s children, we all have the possibility to be a child of The Most High, but unless there is belief in Christ and repentance from sin we are not children of God but a child of the devil.”

It is my understanding that we are all children of God. It is through the free will God has granted us that we either accept or reject Him, we follow or depart from Him and we grow or decrease in our life through God. It is through the free will that God gave us we decide for yourselves rather we accept Him in our lives or not.

I also believe that God is the creator of all life and is the only entity that has the ability to do so. I do not believe He has granted this authority to any other entity, be it a human, an angel or a demon. Because all life begins with God, I do not believe anyone can be “children of the devil”. One can chose to not follow God and follow the devil, but I do not believe that that any of us are not children of God.

In addition, love is not a sin. There is no sin when two men or two women love each other. There is nothing written in the Bible nor the Catholicism that says this love is wrong. Where the Bible and the Catholicism does say there is a sin is when there is a sexual relationship between the two. No where in EB story does he say or suggest that this is happening. I am a person that believes in people, that people are trying to do the right thing (even if they fall short at times) and would rather give a person the benefit of doubt that they are doing good instead of assuming that one is sinning.

  5. EB says:

Catholics and Christians just need to look at the heart of the law – Love God, Love your neighbour and love self. We can all quote the scripture and point fingers, spout Dogma, and throw everything into a loop and eventually the true message gets lost.

Jesus loved to be simple in his teachings. Simplicity is God divine. Goodness, Justice, Mercy -Love. Justice that does not punish, but rather a justice that rehabilitates the person.

“I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and have reavealed them to infants…”

I urge a prayer of love and faith for all who are assaulted by the doom and gloom, bible thumping prophets these days. Seek Christ in love, in simplicity, in humility, and in private. You will know what His relationship is with you. Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find. Knock, and the door will be opened unto you.

Be blessed, and go about your days loving and blessing ALL you meet.

  6. TRex says:

I don’t think anyone is special and although we are all slightly different, we are not unique.

We all have very similar tendances, we all need much the same things in life and god loves us all equally.

How we act and how much discipline we use in life is VERY different.
